Bio- Schwenck-LQHS

Mr. Eric Schwenck is a married father of four who lives in Newport Beach, California. He grew up in Orange County, attending Dana Hills High School in Dana Point and graduating in 1982. After high school, Mr. Schwenck attended Occidental College and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Exercise Science. He then attended graduate school at Cal State San Marcos and received two teaching credentials, one credential in Physical Education and another in Special Education. Mr. Schwenck has been teaching in California for 26 years, his last 16 spent at La Quinta. In his off time Mr. Schwenck spends most of his time with activities involving his four children, Zac (29), Zoe (26), Arabella (21) and Dorothy (14). With his wife, Katherine, he enjoys spending time at the beach, where he fishes, surfs and Swims. Mr. Schwenck spent his first ten years teaching, coaching basketball, but now is concentrating on teaching special education and spending time with his kids. Mr. Schwenck coaches his daughter Dorothy in Basketball and enjoys watching Arabella play soccer at Corona Del Mar High School. Mr. Schwenck teaches  World History SE, World History Inclusion, Economics/Civics SE,  U.S. History Inclusion and US History SE
