Born and raised in Minnesota Jason Rodewald earned his 2-year college degree from North Hennepin Community College while still attending Park Center High School where he participated in Football, Hockey, and Track. He received All-State honors in both Hockey and Track. After graduating High School in 1993 Jason competed in Track and Field while earning his Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He also received a minor in Health Education, and earned his Coaching Certification. Mr. Rodewald then joined the GGUSD in 1997. He spent two years teaching Physical Education at Irvine Intermediate while coaching Track and Field at La Quinta. He transferred to La Quinta in 1999 where he has taught Science, Computer Technology, and Physical Education.  Mr. Rodewald currently serves as Physical Education Department Chair.
