About Mrs. Crowell

Hello, I am Mrs. Crowell.  With over two decades of experience in education, I have dedicated myself to helping students achieve their potential and fostering a passion for learning. I began my teaching career in 2003 and have had the privilege of teaching at nearly every secondary school within the Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD), where I've built strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.    

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Education, both from Azusa Pacific University. These academic foundations have allowed me to approach teaching with a deep understanding of pedagogy and a genuine passion for English language and literature.

In addition to my teaching career, I have a love for travel and enjoy dreaming about new places to explore. Traveling broadens my perspective and helps me bring fresh ideas to my work in the classroom.  I also enjoy spending time with my close friends and family members. 

Throughout my 21 years in this school district, I’ve strived to create a learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. It is a privilege to continue shaping the minds of tomorrow.
