Memoir Cant remember the last undefeated freshman football team at La Quinta? Try 1982 because i was part of it! Led by Bruce Smith the boys of blue and gold powered their way through non league and crushed the Garden Grove league in route to a perfect 10-0 season.It would be the last time coach Bruce smith would don the football field. The last game was a 63-0 blowout of Bolsa Grande, coincedently the the number i wore on my jersey. What a team we were. Thanks to all my teammates for the memories. Fight on Aztecs!
