Are you college-bound? Do you have some questions about what college is like? Like… How will I pay for it? How do I pick a college? How do I know which major I should select? What classes do I need to take in high school? How important are extracurricular activities? If I start at the community college how do transfer? What do colleges look for? If you’re looking for some answers, come to the Roadmap to College! The district is holding workshops to answer these questions and more! Come to the Roadmap to
College on Monday, March 10th at Santiago High School from 5pm-8pm. You will get to attend three
workshops!
College admissions experts will be there to present information on topics such as financial aid, college admissions tests like the SAT and ACT, how to select a college and a college major, college essay tips, and understanding how to transfer from a community college to 4 year university. You’ll hear from college students, school district personnel, and experts from UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, the Princeton Review, College Board, College Inspired, and the Tiger Woods Learning Center! Come with friends or come with your parents!
Roadmap to College is coming soon! Remember the date – It’s Monday, March 10th at Santiago High School from 5pm-8pm. Come with your friends or come with your parents! Presentations will be in English, but interpretation headsets will be available in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Korean. They will even have childcare for your little brothers and sisters ages 2-12!
